SIDNEY — A narcotics search warrant led to the arrest of a Sidney man Monday afternoon.
According to a press release from the Sidney Police Department, Jeffery L. Eichelberger, 32, of 527 N. Wagner Ave., was charged with one count of drug possession a fifth-degree felony as well as two counts of criminal tools, also fifth-degree felonies. As a result of the charges Eichelberger was incarcerated at the Shelby County Jail.
Officers and investigators from the police department executed the search warrant at Eichelberger’s home at approximately 4:23 p.m. Monday. Recovered during the search were suspected methamphetamine and a set of scales.
Eichelberger was scheduled to appear in Sidney Municipal Court Tuesday morning.
This warrant execution is a continuing effort by the Sidney Police Department to combat drug abuse and drug trafficking in Sidney.
