Four Sidney High School cheerleaders received recognition on the basketball All-Greater Western Ohio Conference North squad, announced recently.

Ava Money was a first-team selection and Kiera Leiss was named to the second team.

Two more were named to the Special Mention list in Hannah Wiford and Avery Roberts.

Banquet

Sidney High held its awards night for the cheerleading squads recently.

In varsity basketball, the Most Spirited Award went to Karlie Lee, the Best Sportsmanship Award went to Khaila Price, and the Best All-Around Cheerleader Award went to Addi Hudgins.

Ava Money was named Scholar-Athlete.

In varsity competition cheerleading, the Most Improved was Makayla Kennedy, the Most Spirited was Hannah Wiford, and the 3-D Award went to Kiera Leiss.

In junior varsity basketball cheerleading, the Most Spirited Award went to Makayla Kennedy, Best Sportsmanship to Nickaylee Hastings, and the Best All-Around award to Camryn Smith.

And in junior high competition, the Most Spirited went to Katie Atwood, the Most Improved to Paris Williams-Clark, and the 3-D Award went to Abby Nuss.
