The Buckeye Hustlers 4-H Clover Bud group recently visited Elmwood of New Bremen for community service and to share time with the residents. The 15 Buds, who are in kindergarten through second-grade, started off with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the 4-H Pledge and then a activity called “Digging Deeper.” They had seven questions and interviewed a resident. The residents then interviewed the Clover Bud. The Buds helped make a fruit drink with strawberries/blueberries and cookies with different dips/spreads to try. To finalize the hour with Elmwood the Clover Buds sang and led the head/shoulders/knees and toes song.
