VERSAILLES — Towne & Country Players will present the Kim Kelly Orchestra in a free concert in Fountain Square in downtown Versailles, Friday, at 7 p.m.

The concert opens the theater’s Staycation series of summer events.

The Kim Kelly orchestra has been providing entertainment for private parties and public events primarily in the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana areas since 1974, with many musicians whose origins began at Carroll High School and the University of Dayton. The orchestra features musicians from the Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton areas, many of whom have performed professionally with groups including the orchestras of Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman and Buddy Rich. They are dedicated to providing polished material in a variety of styles, from the songs of the big band era to contemporary pop selections.

Moeller Brew Barn will provide beverages and Michael Anthony, food items for purchase.

In case of rain, the event will be in the St. Denis Church basement.
