TROY — Keaton McEldowney’s RBI triple in the top of the 11th inning gave Sidney Post 217 an 8-7 victory over Piqua Post 184 in the championship of the Region 2 Tournament Monday night at Duke Park in Troy.

The victory put Sidney in the State Legion Tournament for the second year in a row.

The state tournament will begin next Wednesday, July 26, in Lancaster.
