NORTH STAR — Gwenn and Michael Barga, of North Star, have announced the birth of a son, Callan Joseph Barga, born June 16, 2017, at 8:10 a.m., in the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brothers, Noah, 14, Levi, 11, and Liam, 7, and his sisters, Delaney, 13, and Eden, 9.

His maternal grandparents are Linda and Leo Wehrkamp, of North Star. His paternal grandparents are Thelma and David Barga, of North Star.

His great-grandfather is Alvin Spraley, of North Star.

His mother is the former Gwenn Wehrkamp.
