Jenna Batton, 11, of Sidney, daughter of Kristen and John Batton, a member of Successful 4-H Club, won outstanding of the day and state fair qualifier in shopping savvy senior at the fair.

Kasey Copeland, 18, of Lewistown, daughter of Kelly and Cindy Copeland, a member of Progressive Livestock 4-H Club, won bantom best of class at the fair.

Nathan Poeppelman, 18, of McCartyville, son of Tom and Laura Poeppelman, a member of McCartyville Producers, won best of class, outstanding of the day and state fair qualifier, for finishing it up – woodworking at the fair.

Evan Poeppelman, 16, of Anna, son of Thomas and Laura Poeppelman, a member of McCartyville Producers, won best of class, outstanding of the day and state fair qualifier in woodworking – nailing it together at the fair.

Cassie Heath, 10, of Sidney, daughter of Scott and Molly Heath, a member of Successful 4-H Club, won 1st place in Junior Sheep Showmanship at the fair.

Avery Jackson, 10, of Maplewood, daughter of Anthony and Stephanie Jackson, a member of Creative Clovers, won best of class in modeling contest intermediate level at the fair.

Crager, of Garrett, Ky., says he used to work in an oil and gas field making good money until one day he woke up in the middle of the night and decided to start carving a bear out of wood with a chainsaw even though he had never done any kind of carving before in his life. Halfway through carving the bear he decided to quit his job and do chainsaw carving for a living. He found success at fairs and hasn’t looked back.
