Sidney woman sentenced to 8 months

SIDNEY — A Sidney woman was sentenced in four cases on Tuesday in the Shelby County Court of Common Pleas.

Michelle Dubose, 27, 208 Washington St., was sentenced to concurrent jail time totaling 18 months after pleading guilty on three instances of probation violation and two counts of possession of drugs. She was also fined $300 and had her probation revoked.

Other sentencings were:

• Jeremy Couchot, 34, of Port Jefferson, theft. Five years probation, drug and alcohol treatment and a $300 fine.

• Megan Caskey, 27, of Port Jefferson, forgery. She additionally admitted to having a drug problem. Five years probation and drug and alcohol treatment.

• Katie Walker, 26, 329 N. West Ave., two counts of possession of drugs. Five years probation, drug and alcohol treatment and $400 fine.

• Eric Root, 37, 814 S. Miami Ave., trafficking in drugs and vandalism. 23 months in jail.

• Randall Whitehead Jr., 23, of Cincinnati, stopping after accident and attempted aggravated vehicular assault. 17 months and 11 months in prison to be served concurrently and probation after release.

Elissa Graham, 23, 217 1/2 E. North St., possession of drugs, and Alfonso Macias, 19, 750 Campbell Road, attempted failure to provide change of address, both appeared in court on probation violation.

Macias’ lawyer, Dustin Davis, noted that Macias’ new address in 311 1/2 Miami Ave., and he is employed at Miami Valley Polishing. Bond was set at $1,500.

Graham entered a plea of guilty and bond was set at $5,000.
