UVCC streamlines enrollment process

PIQUA — Upper Valley Career Center students and their parents or guardians can pick up schedules, meet teachers and tour the building, Aug. 16, from noon to 7 p.m.

Andrew Snyder, enrollment coordinator, said the school has implemented procedural changes that will streamline and simplify the process.

“All school forms will now be completed online prior to the start of school,” he said.

The Career Center has partnered with eSchoolView to provide OneView, a parent portal accessed through the school website.

“Parents will find the link on our website, www.uppervalleycc.org, under the Resources tab,” Snyder said.

Instructions for setting up OneView accounts were mailed to all registered students at the end of July and included information about the programs, staff, calendar and adult education.

“We encourage families to fill out the OneView forms as soon as possible,” said Snyder. “This initiative was designed to make things easier for parents and assure a smooth start to the school year.”

Parents and students are asked to use the back entrance, Aug. 16. Guidance counselors will be available in the dining commons.
