SIDNEY — Amos Memorial Public Library, 230 E. North St., will host a beginning painting class for adults 18 and older, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m.
The registration deadline is Sept. 5.
Artist Kelly Fair-Walker will lead the class in creating paintings of poppies. The $15 fee will cover the cost of all supplies and is due at registration.
“ I have been an artist my entire life! My high school art teacher was my inspiration to become a practicing artist and eventually a teacher myself. She allowed me the freedom I needed to learn how to express myself. Her name is Ardiss Luce,” Fair-Walker said.
Fair-Walker has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wright State University and a master’s degree. She teaches art at Sidney High School.
