CHIGACO, Ill. — Kristen and Ryan Frierott, of Chicago, Illinois, have announced the birth of a son, Andrew Carter, born June 1, 2017, at 9:02 a.m., in the Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago.

He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brother, Connor, 2.

His maternal grandparents are Kathy and Walter Matchinga, of Hudson. His paternal grandparents are Beth and Tony Frierott, of Minster.

His mother is the former Kristen Matchinga, of Hudson.
