ANNA — Ohio’s own Barney Fife will be in the Anna Park, Sunday, Oct. 8, from 1 to 5 p.m., during the annual Fall Harvest Fest, along with Jungle Island Zoo and its Bird Encounter of more than 200 birds.

The event also has a craft and vendor show; a car show that costs $5 to enter, supports the local food bank and will have two trophies; a hula hoop contest; football toss; drug dog appearance; Daren the Dare Lion; the Shelby County Deer Hunters’ archery trailer; and music by a local bluegrass band, C & M Bluegrass.

The Anna library will have a family fun food drive to help the local food pantry.

Admission to the Fall Harvest Fest is free.
