SIDNEY — Students at Holy Angels Catholic School attended a 1950s-themed dance recently to commemorate the 50th day of school milestone.

The dance in the school’s cafeteria was open to students from kindergarten to eighth grade and came complete with malts, hula hoops and old-time rock ‘n’ roll records.

The kids wore ‘50s attire to school that day and participated in a number of contests. Jeremiah Laforme won the dance contest, while CeCe Inman was the top “hula-hooper.”
