SIDNEY — Cameron Haller, deputy chief of the Sidney Fire Department, spoke to the Senior Center members about the new communication system and about a new fire station planned for Wapakoneta Avenue.

He addressed the group during its monthly luncheon meeting, Feb. 13.

Minutes from the February board meeting were presented. Director Eileen Wiseman gave her report and the treasurer’s report.

February birthdays were celebrated. Norris Cromes won the attendance prize, and Mary Henson won the Milestone raffle.

Upcoming events were announced. These include a dance, which is scheduled for March 16, a spring concert by the Senior Center Singers, and the annual card party, April 25. All of these events are open to the public.
