Girls basketball: Area players selected to all-Ohio teams

Several area girls basketball players were named all-Ohio by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association, which released its statewide teams on Monday and Tuesday.

Minster junior forward Courtney Prenger and Versailles senior guard Kami McEldowney earned the highest honors area players.

Prenger, who is verbally committed to Xavier, is second team in Division IV. She averages 11.8 points per game. McEldowney was selected to second team in Division III and averages 13.1 points per game.
