HOUSTON — The Houston Community Association seeks two volunteers to serve as trustees of the association.

Terrms last for three years. Interested residents should attend the next association meeting, scheduled for April 4 at 7 p.m.

During the March meeting, trustees heard reports:

• The Houston Fire Department will hold a fireman’s breakfast, April 15. For information contact any fire department member.

• Shelby County Dare Camp will be in the association building from July 16 to July 20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Seniors from Houston High School who plan to attend college and would like to apply for the association scholarship, can get application forms at www.houstonca.org. Applications require a work sheet showing hours that the applicant has volunteered for the association. Applications are due April 4.

• The annual noodle dinner was once again a success; however the turn out was a little light.

• Membership dues are due April 4.
