BOTKINS — The Botkins FFA had two teams compete at state finals on April 27, 2018.

During the competition the members had to evaluate animals and give oral reasonings. The Dairy Team competed and placed third out of 57 teams. Scoring for the team was Kinley Topp in seventh, Madison Gerstner in 14th, Keaton Topp in 18th, and Madelyn Topp in 19th.

The General Livestock Team competed and placed fifth out of 167 teams. Scoring for the team was Evan Aufderhaar in sixth, Connor Smock in 27th, Lindsey Okuley in 29th, and Sydney Steinke in 33rd.

Both teams will advance to the national level.
