Buckeye Hustlers Cloverbud 4-H’er’s took the opportunity to attend the Family Passport to Fishing for ages 5 and up, Friday at Earl’s Island Pavilion at Lake Loramie. Julie Stueve and her crew did a ton of work to put on a program of basics of fishing instructions, habitat education, fish identification, how to cast pole, how to tie hook on, boat safety, and more. Each participant received A brand new fishing pole, huge bag of fishing goodies, along with snacks and lunch, before fishing off the pier at the pavilion. Each two children attended with a family member, making it a family time too. This was sponsored by “ Lake Loramie Improvement Assn., ODNR, Division of Wildlife, US Fish & Wildlife Service, Sportfish & Wildlife Restoration Act. Many volunteers were on tap to lead all sessions and assist with the day.
