DINSMORE TOWNSHIP — A three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon at the intersection of County Road 25A and Wells Road is still under investigation by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Shelby County Sheriff John Lenhart’s press release, the crash occurred just north of Anna shortly before 2 p.m.

The release states that the preliminary investigation indicates Jay Pandya, 43, of Anna, was operating a 2011 Accura MDX westbound on Wells Road when he stopped at the stop sign at County Road 25A and then processed through the intersection and was struck by a northbound 2002 Ford Ranger truck on County Road 25A that was driven by Paul Tidd, 65, of Anna. Tidd’s vehicle then struck a southbound semi-tractor that was driven by Franklin Rostorfer, 68, of Wapakoneta, causing the Ford Ranger to roll over.

The Accura MDX and the Ford Ranger sustained heavy damage. The semi-tractor sustained minor damage.

CareFlight responded and transported Tidd to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

Pandya and Rostorfer were treated at the scene by Anna Rescue.

Botkins and Fort Loramie Fire Departments also assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
