Police log

MONDAY

-10:26 p.m.: probation violation. Kristofer Bertsch, 28, 230 Jefferson St., was arrested on an active warrant.

-8:12 p.m.: theft. The theft of a Granite Peak Roadmaster bicycle, valued at $200, was reported stolen at 230 E. North St.

-5:40 p.m.: theft. The theft of a diamond ring, valued at $8,000, was reported at Auto Lube of Sidney on Michigan Street.

-10:03 a.m.: theft. The theft of seven doses of medication were reported stolen at 200 N. Pomeroy Ave.

-8:12 a.m.: probation violation. Mary Elizabeth Murray, 35, at large, was arrested on a probation violation warrant.

Crashes

Judith J. Wells, 71, 706 N. Wagner Ave., was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 1:46 p.m.

Wells was traveling eastbound after just pulling from a stop sign on Park Street at the intersection of St. Marys Avenue when he pulled in front of a southbound vehicle on St. Marys Avenue causing a collision.

The other vehicle was driven by Jessica L. Mullins, 25, 219 S. Wilkinson Ave.

Wells was taken to Wilson Health for evaluation.

• No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 9:32 a.m.

Mary E. McBride, 78, 1336 Westbrooke Drive, was traveling east and when attempting to turn right from Fair Road onto Water Street she was struck by a semitrailer, driven by Alphonso Eafford, 56, of Maple Heights, that was also going east on Fair Road and attempting to turn right onto Water Street.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-6:24 a.m.: assist. Crews responded to assist an individual.

-6:03 to 1:35 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to three calls.

-2:59 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Crews conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.

MONDAY

-4:11 to 8:07 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters conducted two open burn investigations. Both fires were unauthorized.

-1:46 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to an automobile crash.
