VERSAILLES — Karen and Jon Richard, of Versailles, have announced the birth of a son, Leo Zachary Richard, born April 19, 2019, in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

He weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his sisters, Cecilia, 3, and Meredith, 2.

His maternal grandparents are Jane and Gary Smith, of Versailles. His paternal grandparents are Mark and Peggi Richard, of Versailles.

His great-grandparents are Louis Schlater, of North Star; Janet Pitsenbarger, of Versailles; and Gene and Dorothy Richard, of Versailles.

His mother is the former Karen Smith, of Versailles.
