SIDNEY — The Northtowne Church of God will be having a special guest speaker on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m.

Pastor Joel Jeune from the island of Haiti will be sharing about the present conditions in his country and the how the ministry of Grace International is making an impact. He and his wife, Doris, started this ministry and have helped literally thousands of his fellow Haitians. Grace International is a Christian, humanitarian and empowering organization serving the Country of Haiti for more than 43 years.

Jeune has an amazing testimony of how God did a miracle in his life through the prayers of his father. He has written a book about it entitled, “I Sneezed in My Casket.” The Jeunes have travelled throughout the world sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The purpose statement of Grace International is as follows, “Inspired by our Christian values and in response to the Great Commission, we have identified and introduced three principal solutions to all the needs of the people, the communities and the countries that we serve: Jesus, Education, and Work (JOB). True change comes from within, in order to really help change a life we must first start with the heart. We provide health-care, education, spiritual guidance, children’s feeding programs, youth/senior ministries and empowered living to families and all those in need within our reach.”

Northtowne Church of God is located at 2008 Wapakoneta Ave. and for more information call 937-498-1476. Pastor Tim Bartee invites the community to this special event.
