KENT – Kent State University conferred degrees to summer graduates during commencement exercises Aug. 17 in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center on the Kent Campus.

The university awarded 280 associate degrees, 575 bachelor’s degrees and 362 graduate degrees to students.

Kara Monnin, of Minster, graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
