SIDNEY- A drug-related case filed against Elizabeth McKenzie, 35, West Milton, has been dismissed without prejudice by local prosecutors.

Authorities confirmed a person misidentified themselves as McKenzie to the arresting officer causing an indictment to be handed down to the wrong person by the Shelby County grand jury on Oct. 31.

Charges are pending regarding others involved in the incident.
