Botkins Local School announces 2021-22 homecoming court


BOTKINS — The 2021-2022 Botkins Local School homecoming court has been announced.

Candidates for queen are Hollie Buehler, daughter of Chuck and Heather Buehler; Carmen Hueker, daughter of Steve and Ginger Hueker; Boston Paul, daughter of Ben and Erica Paul; and Emma Steinke, daughter of Jeff and Vicki Steinke.

Candidates for king are Dylan Topp, son of Brent Topp and Andrea Kohler; Jack Dietz, son of Todd and Casey Dietz; Cole Steinke, son of Artie and Jill Steinke; and Shane Weatherhead, son of Cort and Jenny Weatherhead.

Junior high attendents are Lilly Bayless, daughter of Scott and Emily Bayless, and Elijah Schuller, son of Tiffany Snyder and Aaron Schuller.

Freshman attendants are Lilly Elsass, daughter of Jeremy and Lori Elsass, and Jacob Grunden, son of Mark and Melissa Grunden.

Sophomore attendants are Brittany Arnold, daughter of Tony and Jill Arnold, and Hunter Lenhart, son of Aaron and Holly Lenhart.

Junior attendants are Natalia Wiley, daughter of Todd Wiley and Gene and Kathy Meabon, and Keaton Schnippel, son of Keith and Jana Schnippel.

Kindergarten attendants are Chloe Shroyer, daughter of Luke and Jenna Schroyer, and Corbin McCullough, son of Ryan and Jayme McCullough.

The theme for this year’s homecoming is “100 Years” by Five for Fighting, and the colors are salmon pink and powder blue.

The 2021-22 homecoming king and queen will announced after the Botkins Local School freshman basketball game on Jan. 14. The dance will be held Jan. 15 in the school cafeteria.

Featured vocalists at this year’s ceremony will be Ainsley Manger, daughter of Kelan and Stephanie Manger, and Brendon Thompson, son of Cory and Sara Thompson.
