THURSDAY

-11:54 p.m.: crime in progress. Nelson L. Miller, 42, of Sidney, was arrested for domestic violence.

WEDNESDAY

-6:10 p.m.: suspicious subject or vehicle. Police responded to a suspicious subject or vehicle in the area of South Highland Avenue and Taft Street.

-4:56 p.m.: drugs. Police responded to drugs in the 200 block of North Main Avenue.

-3:13 p.m.: suspicious subject or vehicle. Police responded to a suspicious subject or vehicle in the area of Clinton Avenue and Johnston Drive.

-2:29 p.m.: suspicious subject or vehicle. Police responded to a suspicious subject or vehicle in the 500 block of Jefferson Street.

-2:12 p.m.: trespassing. Police removed someone in the 300 block of Lake Street.

Crashes

Jeffrey Marshall Wright, 41, of Arcanum, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 11:38 a.m.

Wright was traveling northbound on Chestnut Avenue and struck a parked car owned by Brian Andrew Tucker, of Sidney, while trying to park in front of it.

• Andrew Huff, 73, of Sidney, was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 2:27 p.m.

Tracey Lynn Branche, 53, of Sidney, was stopped in traffic traveling southbound in the right lane on South Ohio Avenue. Huff backed out of a parking spot near the right lane, failed to see Branche and backed into her.

• Jose Orlando Castillo-Ojeda, 16, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 11:27 a.m.

Robert M. Jameson, 53, of Sidney, was traveling westbound on Michigan Street and stopped for traffic. Castillo-Ojeda was behind Jameson and failed to see him stop, rear-ending him.
