RUSSIA — Russia couldn’t keep up and lost to Marion Local 57-46 in its regular-season finale on Saturday night at Clair C. Naveau Gymnasium.
The Flyers led 18-14 at the end of the first quarter, 33-26 at halftime and 46-40 at the end of the third quarter.
Braylon Cordonnier led Russia (19-3) with seven points while Zane Shappie, Felix Francis, Brayden Monnin and Vincent Borchers each scored six points.
Jackson Center 75, Riverside 36
The Tigers won their regular-season finale in lopsided fashion on Saturday in Jackson Center.
Jackson Center led 17-8 at the end of the first quarter, 41-10 at halftime and 61-22 at the end of the third quarter.
Nolan Fark and Jace Mullenhour each scored 15 points for Jackson Center (21-1) while Lucas Heitkamp scored 10, Bryson Roberts scored nine and Lucas Hartle scored eight.
Jaxon Woods led Riverside (6-15) with 12 points and three assists. Myles Platfoot scored eight points and had three assists and four rebounds.
Botkins 62, New Knoxville 41
The Trojans won their regular-season finale on Saturday in Botkins.
Botkins led 22-10 at the end of the first quarter, 41-20 at halftime and 54-35 at the end of the third quarter.
Jordan Herzog led Botkins (13-9) with 13 points while Carter Pleiman and Collin Doseck each scored 11 and Rylyn Paul scored eight. Pleiman surpassed 1,000 career points in the victory.
Franklin-Monroe 26, Houston 24
The Wildcats lost a nonconference game on Saturday in Pitsburg.
Houston led 10-7 at the end of the first quarter, but the Jets used a 12-6 edge in the second to take a 19-16 halftime lead. Houston used a 5-2 edge in the third to tie it 21-21, but Franklin-Monroe used a 5-3 edge in the fourth to earn the win.
Houston finishes regular-season play with a 3-19 overall record.

The Jets lost a nonconference game on their home court on Saturday.
The Tigers led 20-13 at the end of the first quarter, 35-19 at halftime and 52-29 at the end of the third quarter.
