SIDNEY — 2022 was a wonderful year for Creative Vacations.

“The demand for travel is at an all-time high and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon,” said Debi Pulfer.

With demand so high, people are starting to plan in advance once again. It’s important to keep that in mind for your own vacation. Often, the closer in you book, the higher the cost. The once known “last minute specials” are not currently offered as much as in past years. Planning all types of vacations is exciting, but it’s extra special when doing so to celebrate special occasions, such as honeymoons, anniversaries, graduations, and retirements. The multi-generational vacation requests continue to grow as grandparents cherish time spent on vacation with their children and grandchildren, and are making it happen more often. “Having been a travel advisor for 39 years, trends may change but the excitement and desire to vacation has not changed. So many are realizing they want travel experiences to create memories for a lifetime, instead of spending to have more things. Life is short and there is a big world to explore, do it while your health permits. In the past, so many waited until retirement to travel, but when the time came, were not able to and regretted not doing so sooner.

Travel to Europe and abroad is also at an all-time high, really booming, including Viking River & Ocean Cruises, Italy, Ireland, France, Germany and Scandinavia.
