-2:38 p.m.: fraud. Police received a fraud report from the 100 block of Franklin Avenue.

-1:40 p.m.: warrant. Giovanni Edoardo Ruiu, 27, of Sidney, was arrested on a warrant.

-12:27 p.m.: assault. Police responded to an assault in progress in the 700 block of Lynn Street.

-10:09 a.m.: crime in progress. Jacqulene Michelle Caudill, 38, of Sidney, was arrested for felonious assault.

-2:08 a.m.: damage. Police responded to past damage in the 700 block of Arrowhead Drive.

Crashes

No one was cited after a three-vehicle crash on Monday, Feb. 27 at 3:12 p.m.

Keith E. Drinnen, 45, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on Russell Road when he said Brian B. Alexander, 46, of Sidney, crossed the center line while traveling westbound into Drinnen’s lane of travel. Drinnen slammed on his brakes to avoid being hit when he was rear-ended by Korrine O. Young, 20, of Sidney. Young also said Alexander crossed the center line. Alexander said he never crossed over the line and had no fault in the crash.

• No one was cited following an incident on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 3:35 p.m.

Michele Stephens, 46, of Sidney, was traveling southbound on South Ohio Avenue when the dealership vehicle she was driving lost its rear driver’s side tire. The tire continued southbound before striking a building on South Ohio Avenue and ricocheting off of the building into a vehicle driven by Michael St. Myers, 58, of Sidney.

• Adriana Rose Kremer, 16, of Minster, was cited with driving in marked lanes following a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 9:53 p.m.

Kremer was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 in the right lane while Stephen Bell, 55, of Sidney, was also traveling eastbound on state Route 47 in the left lane. Kremer attempted to change lanes, striking Bell.

• No one was cited following a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 1:07 p.m.

Felicia Southern, 53, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on West Russell Road, approaching the intersection of Fourth Avenue. Mindy Reynolds, 29, of Sidney, was preparing to turn from West Russell Road southbound onto Fourth Avenue. Reynolds made the left-hand turn into the path of Southern. Due to conflicting statements, no citation was issued.

Southern was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries. Southern’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing. Reynolds’ vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.
