-9:13 a.m.: theft. Deputies responded to a theft in the 5000 block of state Route 29.

WEDNESDAY

-7:09 a.m.: burglary. Deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 1000 block of Hardin Wapakoneta Road.

-5:18 p.m.: drugs. Personnel responded to drugs at mile marker 98 on Interstate 75.

-3:50 p.m.: crash. Deputies, Van Buren Fire and New Bremen EMS responded to a crash with injuries in the area of Schmitmeyer Baker Road.

-5:46 a.m.: property damage. Personnel responded to property damage at mile marker 89 on Interstate 75.

-4:13 a.m.: pursuit. Deputies were involved in a pursuit in the area of West Miami Shelby Road.

Crashes

Laurie Ann Hughes, 62, of Wapakoneta, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on March 3 at 6:55 a.m.

Bart A. Brunswick, 54, of Anna, was turning from the Interstate 75 exit ramp to state Route 29 and Hughes was behind him and struck him as he was making the turn. Hughes’s vehicle was towed by Meyer’s Towing.
