Crashes

Robert Allen Now, 37, of Sidney, was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a two-vehicle crash on April 27 at 7:40 a.m.

Now was parked along the curb on South Miami Avenue and backed into a parked car behind him owned by Yerenia Mayorga Redmond, of Sidney.

• Travis Colby Googins, 40, of Sidney, was cited with disobedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on April 25 at 11:21 a.m.

Googins was traveling southbound on North Main Avenue and approached the intersection of East Russell Road. Rosemary R. Champagne, 46, of Urbana, was traveling eastbound on East Russell Road at the intersection. Googins ran the red light and struck Champagne.

Googins’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing and Champagne’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.

• Rachel L. Hamblin, 36, of Sidney, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a two-vehicle crash on April 23 at 9:07 p.m.

Hamblin was traveling eastbound on Kossuth Street and swerved to avoid hitting an animal, causing her to strike a parked car owned by Jerry A. Crawford, of Sidney, and the front of a residence on Kossuth Street. Hamblin’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing.
