Recent birth

RUSSIA — Claire and Brad Walterbusch, of Russia, announce the birth of their daughter, Lyla Louise.

Lyla was born Oct. 19, 2023, at 6:05 p.m. at Wilson Health, Sidney. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her big sister, Ivy, 19 months.

Maternal grandparents are Darryl and Heidi Sherman, of Russia. Paternal grandparents are Jim and Sandy Walterbusch, of Minster.

Great-grandparents are Virgil and Lucy Fullenkamp, of Russia, Rich and Marilyn Sherman, of Russia, Virginia Schwieterman, of Burketsville, and Betty Walterbusch, of Maria Stein.

Lyla’s mom is the former Claire Sherman, of Russia.
