BLUFFTON – Carrie Blust, of Sidney, Ohio, participated in a Bluffton University cross-cultural experience in Bolivia during the month of May.
Blust, along with other Bluffton students learned about the culture and history of this country while interacting with children at a school, an orphanage and a daycare center. Students participating in this program had the opportunity to travel to the Andes mountains and the capital city.
Blust, daughter of Jeffrey and Amy Blust, is a junior majoring in early childhood education and intervention specialist. She was a 2014 graduate Sidney Christian Academy.
This experience will fulfill Bluffton’s undergraduate cross-cultural requirement that must be completed before graduation. Students can either complete a cross-cultural experience or take six credit hours in one foreign language.
