MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. — Tracy and Gabe Cowell, of Mackinac Island, Michigan, formerly of Russia, have announced the birth of twin daughters born Dec. 31, 2015.

Olivia Pearl was born at 4:17 p.m., weighed 5 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 18 1/2 inches long. Nova Lynn was born at 4:23 p.m., weighed 5 pounds, and was 18 inches long.

They were welcomed home by their brothers, Justin and Mathew, and their sisters, Ella and Kaylee.

Their maternal grandparents are Dennis Quinter, of Fort Recovery, and Debra Fisher, of Mackinac Island, Michigan. Their paternal grandmother is Gwendolyn Bagbey, of Mackinac Island, Michigan.

Their mother is the former Tracy Quinter.
