SIDNEY — Grace Madelyn Hageman and Garrett Andrew Vondenhuevel, both of Sidney, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2021, at DeGraff Methodist Church in DeGraff.

Don Burley officiated the ceremony.

The bride wore an A-line style long-sleeved lace dress with sequin and beaded detailing and a long train. Her chapel-length veil was tulle that had beading and pearls along the edge. She carried a bouquet of white and red roses, pinecones, baby breath and gold ribbon.

Meredith Hageman served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Haley Hageman, Daisy Vondenhuevel and Paige Guerra. The flower girl was Eve Hageman.

Michael Hageman served as the best man. Groomsmen were Garrett Hageman, Blake Greiwe, Lane Greiwe and Chase Vondenhuevel, who also served as ushers. The ring bearer was Nolan Huelskamp.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jason Hageman.

Program attendants were Season Greiwe and Alicia Leppa.

The reception was held at Winner’s Harvest Barn, in DeGraff.

Parents of the bride are Jason and Gretchen Hageman, of Sidney. Grandparents of the bride are John and Donna Sue Greiwe, of Sidney, and Rick and the late Vera Hageman, of Sidney.

The bride is a 2018 graduate of Fairlawn High School and a 2021 graduate from Edison State Community College with an associate of science degree and medical coding certificate. She works as a patient service representative and surgery scheduler at Wilson Health. She will be starting a new position as a Wilson Health coding specialist.

Parents of the bridegroom are Luke and Christina Vondenhuevel, of Sidney. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Rebecca and the late Joseph Puckett, of Conover, Polly Cottrel, of Conover, and Richard Vondenhuevel, of Sidney.

The bridegroom is a 2018 graduate of Fairlawn High School, and works as a highway worker at the Shelby County Highway Department.

The couple are high school sweethears, and will reside in Sidney.
