MINSTER — The Minster Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a hearing on Sept. 11, 2018, in the Village of Minster Council Chambers located at 5 W. Fourth St., Minster, at 7 p.m. The purpose of the public meeting is to consider the following:

• A variance request submitted by Robb Hemmelgarn. The Hemmelgarn’s would like to construct an addition onto the home located at 259 East Sixth Street. The proposed 12 foot by 36 foot addition would be located 28 feet from the rear property line. According to the Village of Minster Zoning Code, the rear yard setback for residential homes is 35 feet. The Hemmelgarn’s are asking for a 7 foot variance on the required rear yard setback requirement.

• A variance request by Jeff and Mindy Stueve. The Stueve’s would like to construct an in-ground pool in the rear yard of their house and locate the pool 3 feet from the rear property line. According to the Village of Minster Zoning Code, the required setback for in-ground pools is 15 feet from all property lines. The Stueve’s are asking for a 12 foot variance on the required setback regulations for in-ground pools

Any person wishing to comment on the proposed appeal may attend the meeting or call the Zoning Administrator or a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
