Grand jury issues indictments for drug trafficking charges

SIDNEY – More than 20 people were indicted on drug trafficking charges by the Shelby County grand jury Thursday.

• Joshua Earl Jenkins, 33, at large, was indicted on three charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, one of which is a third degree felony and two of which are fourth degree felonies. Jenkins reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on June 22, July 20 and Aug. 20.

• Giovanni Edoardo Ruiu, 26, of London, was indicted on three charges of trafficking in drugs and two charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a fourth degree felony. Ruiu reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl in the vicinity of a school on June 5 and 10 and tramadol in the vicinity of a school on June 5. He also reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on June 11 and July 7.

• Forrest F. Fergus, 51, of Sidney, was indicted on two charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both fourth degree felonies, and three charges of trafficking in drugs, two of which are fourth degree felonies and one of which is a fifth degree felony. Fergus reportedly sold or offered to sell psilocyn on May 21 and June 4 and LSD on May 21, June 4 and June 11.

• Ryan Michael Lawrence Nagel, 34, of Troy, was indicted on four charges of trafficking in drugs, each a fourth degree felony. Lawrence reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl in the vicinity of a school on July 19, 23, 26 and 29, 2019.

• Keesha D. Powers, 29, who is in the Ohio Reformatory for Women, was indicted on four charges of trafficking in drugs, each a fourth degree felony. Powers reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl in the vicinity of a school on June 15, 16 and 17.

• Arthur E. Adkins, 22, who is in the Marion Correctional Institution, was indicted on three charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a fourth degree felony, and three charges of trafficking in drugs, each a fifth degree felony. Adkins reportedly sold or offered to sell cocaine, heroin and fentanyl on July 3. He also reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on July 6, July 8 and Sept. 18.

• Tara Rae Wilson, 30, at large, was indicted on three charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a fourth degree felony. Wilson reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on May 27 and June 3.

• Zachary Andrew Harris, 23, who is in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on three charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a fourth degree felony. Harris reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on May 19, May 20 and June 3.

• Trisha Raylene Murphy, 23, of Piqua, was indicted on three charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a fourth degree felony. Murphy reportedly sold or offered to sell synthetic cannabinoid on June 5, June 16 and July 14.

• Mark A. Lemaster, 51, at large, was indicted on five charges of trafficking in drugs, each a fifth degree felony, and two charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both fourth degree felonies. Lemaster reportedly sold or offered to sell cocaine, heroin and fentanyl on June 24. He also reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl on June 25, methamphetamine on July 7 and heroin on Oct. 21.

• Alice Louise Turner, 35, of Sidney, was indicted on seven charges of trafficking in drugs, two of which are fourth degree felonies and five of which are fifth degree felonies. Turner reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl within the vicinity of a school on June 19 and 24. She also reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl on June 24, July 2 and July 7. Turner reportedly offered to sell cocaine on June 24 and heroin on July 2.

• Paul D. Adkins, 55, at large, was indicted on two charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both fourth degree felonies, and three charges of trafficking in drugs, each fifth degree felonies. Adkins reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine and fentanyl on June 22 and 24.

• Quentin J.E. Achor, 27, of Piqua, was indicted on three charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, two of which are fourth degree felonies and one of which is a fifth degree felony. Achor reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on May 8 and 19 and ecstasy on May 26.

• Jesse M. Fitzgerald, 38, at large, was indicted on two charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both fourth degree felonies, and a charge of trafficking in drugs, a fifth degree felony. Fitzgerald reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine and fentanyl on Aug. 5 and sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on Aug. 31.

• Darrin A. Opphile, 47, of Sidney, was indicted on two charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both fourth degree felonies. Opphile reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on June 25 and July 24.

• Mary E. Murray, 37, at large, was indicted on two charges of trafficking in drugs, both fourth degree felonies. Murray reportedly sold or offered to sell cocaine in the vicinity of a juvenile on July 1 and sold or offered to sell fentanyl on July 1.

• Teresa D. Wentz, 58, of Sidney, was indicted on nine charges of trafficking in drugs, each a fifth degree felony, and one charge of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony. Wentz reportedly sold or offered to sell heroin, fentanyl and buprenorphine on Feb. 6, 2020. She reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl on Feb. 10, 2020. She reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine on Feb. 11, 2020. Wentz also reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl and tramadol on Feb. 14, 2020.

• Aaron C. Case, 23, of Sidney, was indicted on three charges of trafficking in drugs, one of which is a fourth degree felony and two of which are fifth degree felonies. Case reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl on June 16. He also reportedly sold or offered to sell fentanyl and tramadol on July 1.

• Danielle N. Bailey, 37, of Sidney, was indicted on a charge of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony, and two charges of trafficking in drugs, both fifth degree felonies. Bailey reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine, tramadol and fentanyl on June 7.

• David W. Slife, 34, who is in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on a charge of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony. Slife reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on July 21.

• Tammy R. Liles, 43, at large, was indicted on a charge of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony. Liles reportedly sold or offered to sell methamphetamine on June 1.

• Gary A. Boswell, II, 41, of Sidney, was indicted on three charges of trafficking in drugs, each a fifth degree felony. Boswell reportedly sold or offered to sell marijuana on Jan. 16, Jan. 30 and June 8, 2020.

• Keith Dorian Transou, Sr., 51, at large, was indicted on two charges of trafficking in drugs, both fifth degree felonies. Transou reportedly sold or offered to sell marijuana on Dec. 16 and 17, 2019.
