Spirit EMS record

Spirit Emergency Medical Services weekly log

Jan. 8-14

According to Brian K. Hathaway, Spirit EMS president/CEO, Spirit EMS responded to five emergency medical dispatches from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office 911 dispatch center. That’s two more calls than the week prior.

All calls were in the Houston EMS district which includes Loramie and Washington townships including the village of Lockington and excluding the village of Russia.

All five patients were transported from the scene to the hospital. One call came in while the first-out unit was already on another call in the district. A second Spirit EMS unit responded and handled the call. Three patients were taken to Wilson Health and two were transported to Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. Russia Fire first responders assisted with one medical call.

Spirit EMS responded to 100% of its dispatches during this time.
