THURSDAY

-11:29 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Sethual Keen, 18, 225 S. Miami Ave., was arrested for an outstanding grand jury indictment and transported to the Shelby County Jail.

-9:53 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Bobby Gill, 55, 525 S. Miami Ave., was arrested for disorderly conduct at East Miami Street and South Main Avenue.

-9:27 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Aaron Lawson, 27, 522 E. Court St., Apt. C, was arrested for an outstanding grand jury indictment through Shelby County Common Pleas Court and transported to the Shelby County Jail.

-8:46 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Melissa Grant, 43, 216 E. Clay St., was arrested for an outstanding grand jury indictment through the Shelby County Common Pleas Court and transported to the Shelby County Jail.

-1:40 p.m.: found property. Tina Copeland, 301 1/2 E. Court St., reported a girls green 10-speed bike was abandoned in her yard. It was placed in the police department garage for safekeeping.

-12:01 p.m.: theft. James King, 41, 5647 Knoop-Johnston Road, reported $550 worth of saws and other tools were taken from his unlocked vehicle at 544 Michigan St.

-9:32 a.m.: contempt. Nicholas Grauel, 33, 617 Taft Street, was arrested on a warrant and then turned over to the court.

Accidents

Desiree Lilly, 28, 209 Main St., Apt. C, Port Jefferson, was arrested for driving under the influence and endangering children, and was cited for assured clear distance after an accident Thursday at 10:33 p.m

The accident occurred at Grove Street and St. Marys Avenue when she was trying to park behind another vehicle already parked on St. Marys Avenue.

• Brittany Halterman, 26, of West Liberty, was cited for assured clear distance after an accident on Thursday at 5:25 p.m.

Halterman was traveling westbound on Riverside Drive when the vehicle in front of her slowed down to 35 mph and she stuck it in the rear. According to the police report, Halterman said the other car slammed on its breaks and stopped in the middle of the roadway and this is why she struck it.

The driver of the other vehicle stated she was not stopped when she was struck and Halterman was driving recklessly. The driver of the other vehicle was Hannah Westerbeck, 17, 17730 Fort Loramie-Swanders Road.

• Jason Dube, 40, of Lima, was cited for right of way turning left after an accident on Thursday at 7:59 a.m.

Dube was southbound in the left lane of South Vandemark Road, approaching Schlater Drive. The other vehicle was northbound in the right lane of South Vandemark Road, approaching Schlater Drive. Dube attempted to turn left onto Schlater Drive and struck the other vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was Maria Yannucci, 21, of Piqua.

-6:15 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. medical. Medics responded to four calls.

THURSDAY

-2:05 p.m. to 10:31 p.m. medical. Medics responded to seven calls.
