PIQUA — P & R Specialty Inc., a leading manufacturer of spools and reels serving the wire and cable industry, has announced the appointment of Dave Ziegler as vice president of sales.

“As a result of a retirement as part our succession plan, P&R Specialty is appointing a new vice president of sales to replace Vince Reidy, who is retiring in the first quarter of 2016,” said Greg Blankenship, president and CEO.

Ziegler has extensive executive sales leadership experience in multiple industries, with his most recent position being senior branch manager at MSC Industrial Supply, responsible for both sales and distribution functions. Ziegler is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and holds a Bachelor of Science in general engineering.

“Dave’s successful management experience and his technical background will be an asset in leading continued revenue growth at P&R,” said Blankenship.

Ziegler will oversee sales and marketing strategy development and manage all sales functions.

P & R Specialty manufactures fiberboard spools, plastic spools and plywood reels for the welding wire, fine wire, magnet wire, hose and cordage industries.
