ST. MARYS — Midwest Electric recently promoted Terri Gerlach, formerly human resources coordinator, to manager of human resources and safety.

With 28 years of combined experience in both safety and compliance and human resources from her previous job, Gerlach’s new position includes managing the cooperative’s safety coordinator, promoting practices to educate and protect the public, coordinating personnel benefits and training and helping ensure the safety culture aligns with Midwest’s vision.

She has been with Midwest Electric for eight years.
