PIQUA — Wilson Health is planning to open a new medical office in Piqua and expand its services into Miami County.
“Our growth strategy is to provide services where there is a need,” said Duane Francis, interim president and CEO of Wilson Health. “After thorough assessment and discussions with government and community leaders, we determined opening a medical office in Piqua will allow us to help meet the demands in Miami County.”
The 2,800-square-foot medical office is located at 1255 E. Ash St. Wilson Health will lease space from the Advanced Foot and Ankle Care’s Piqua building. Renovation and minor construction work will begin soon to prepare the office for occupancy.
The Piqua office will offer full-time primary care and ob/gyn services provided by Wilson Health Medical Group.
The office is set to open in the spring of 2019.
