DAYTON — Midmark Corp., a leading provider of medical, dental and veterinary equipment, technology and services, has announced the retirement of Richard “Dick” Moorman, vice president of distributor relations.

Moorman plans to retire at the end of March after nearly 44 years with Midmark.

Moorman started his career at Midmark in 1975 as a sales trainee while assembling tables and casework. This in-depth understanding of the product launched his sales career, where he was first assigned to the southern region, based in Atlanta. From there, he was promoted to regional manager, then national sales manager, vice president of sales and to his current role as vice president of distributor relations.

Acclaimed in the industry, Moorman has received many awards and recognitions. Most recently he was inducted into the Medical Distribution Hall of Fame by Share Moving Media (Repertoire Magazine). Over the years, he received multiple Medical Representative of the Year and Regional Manager of the Year awards at Midmark’s national sales meetings. Additionally, he received the Repertoire/HIDA Excellence in Sales Award during his time as vice president of sales.

Matt Bourne, vice president of medical sales for Midmark, stated, “Dick has been committed to being a loyal teammate and friend to so many in our industry. His ability to lead from in front and to develop meaningful relationships with our distribution partners is only matched by his will to compete and drive results. We wish him the absolute best in his retirement.”

As Midmark works with Moorman through a successful transition during the first quarter, the company will communicate plans moving forward with its medical channel partners.
