WSU-Lake offers biz classes

CELINA — The Business Enterprise Center at Wright State University-Lake Campus in Celina has announced a series of noncredit classes to be offered in June to area business people.

“Payroll 101” will be taught by Ron Kremer and meet June 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in Trenary Hall Room 1119. The class fee is $40.

“Presenting: Using Technology” will be taught by Carla Hirschfeld and meet June 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Dwyer Hall Room 192. She will teach “Presenting: Public Speaking” in the same place, June 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The class fee is $40 for one session or $75 for both.

“Resume & Interviewing” will be taught by Carol Jones and Rachel Stoker, June 23 from 4 to 6 p.m., June 25, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Aug. 4 from 4 to 6 p.m., or Aug. 6 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., in Dwyer Hall Room 229. The course is free to WSU students and alumni. The fee for others is $35.

“Starting Right,” a pre-business seminar for people planning to start a small business, will meet June 16, July 21 or Aug. 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Trenary Hall Room 126. The fee is $35 per business.
