COLUMBUS — Dane Michael Sommer, formerly of Minster, was presented with his professional engineering license during a recent statehouse ceremony hosted by the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors and the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE).

Sommer, son of Sherry and Fred Sommer, of Minster, graduated from Minster High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Dayton. He is employed by E.P. Ferris & Associates in Columbus.

Sommer is a member of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers.
