BROWN — Brown Industrial Inc. had a very successful 2017, exceeding its own projections.
“We are a family-owned and operated business with third and fourth generations actively working and managing the day to day business and manufacturing operations,” said co-owner Craig Brown. His brother, Chris Brown, is the other co-owner. “Given our past successes and our position within the markets we serve, 2018 is positioned to be another strong year with growth opportunities from current customers and markets and opportunities in new markets. We have 140,000 ft2 under roof with the newly acquired adjacent property that we continued to improve and update to support our continued growth.”

Brown Industrial is the market leader in the design and manufacture of Truck Bodies and Heavy Duty trailers for the highly specialized Rendering Industry. Brown Industrial Inc. “WaBo” brand Rendering Trailers and Bodies are well known for their innovative design, superior quality and tight manufacturing tolerances throughout the rendering industry. The “WaBo” Brand includes Trailers and Bodies that are manufactured with Aluminum, steel, and 409 stainless steel and are designed and manufactured to customer needs and specifications. The “WaBo” Brand is synonymous with durability which is required to meet the harsh demands of the Rendering environment.
Our highly skilled employees manufacture heavy duty trailers and bodies that ship nationwide, and into Canada. The WaBo line is hand built allowing our associates to showcase their skills and passion for producing trailers and bodies that contribute to a green environment. 2017 was Brown Industrial’s largest unit volume year, producing 112 custom heavy duty trailers and bodies.
The fabrication department of Brown Industrial is a regional leader in providing state of the art laser cutting and fabricated metal products for local and regional OE manufacturers and metal fabricators. Utilizing state of the art manufacturing facilities and equipment our highly dedicated associates are committed to provide best in class products that exceed our customers’ expectations.
Our dedication to continuous improvement drove the acquisition of an 8,000 Watt Fiber Laser that was added to support our customer demands by allowing for thicker nitrogen cutting on mild and stainless steel. Brown Industrial utilizes five laser metal cutting machines, two waterjet metal and plastic cutting machines, four CNC press brakes that support “1 stop” fabrication and contract manufacturing capabilities. Brown Industrial operates a modern delivery fleet to get customers their parts safely and on time.
We have over 90 full time highly trained and motivated associates who are the key to Brown Industrial’s success. Our associates possess highly valuable skills that include steel and aluminum welding, fabrication, 12 volt electrical wiring, mechanical work, CNC processing, press brake, and many more.
