BOTKINS — Buckeye Electrical Products, located in Botkins, has again experienced significant growth in 2017.

“Buckeye Electrical specializes in manufacturing custom electrical assemblies for various applications and customers,” said Kevin Platfoot, vice president and head of operations. “Our products are utilized in fields such as commercial, entertainment, medical, recreational, and military. These products can range from wire harnesses and custom box builds to coils and printed circuit boards.”

His report continues:

The company anticipates similar growth for 2018. A large part of this growth is contributed to the increase in the production of wire harnesses. The most notable sign of growth in 2017 was the expansion of their production facility. The original building, located in the Botkins Industrial Park, offered 6,000 square feet, while the new building provides an additional 7,200 square feet. Buckeye Electrical currently employs approximately 40 individuals, nearly double the number of employees from the start of 2017.

All of our manufacturing and assembly products are designed around ISO 9001 requirements. Our products undergo thorough inspection, documentation, traceability and testing procedures. In 2017, Buckeye Electrical became ISO 9001-2015 certified, which will aid the growth in military and industrial applications.

We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices, and we are looking forward to additional growth in the coming year.
