TUESDAY

-9:40 a.m.: drugs. Deputies responded to drugs in the 1000 block of Campbell Road.

-10:38 a.m.: drugs. Deputies responded to drugs in the 12000 block of Meranda Road.

Crashes

Stevie O. Witherspoon, 52, of Birmingham, Alabama, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 9:19 a.m.

Witherspoon was traveling southbound on Interstate 75 in the left lane and Taylor M. Annarino, 33, of Tipp City, was in the right lane. Witherspoon lost control and drove into the right lane in front of Annarino, causing a collision.

• Austin M. Goodwin, 25, of Wapakoneta, was cited with right of way at stop and yield signs and driving under the influence after a one-vehicle crash on Sunday at 6:17 a.m.

Goodwin was traveling eastbound on state Route 119 when he failed to yield to a stop sign and drove off the roadway, striking a pole. Goodwin was found to be under the influence of alcohol and had a value of .102 on a breathalyzer test. Goodwin’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.

• Leal R. Euglis Gabriel, 23, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 11:35 p.m.

Gabriel and Thierno O. Bah, 38, of Columbus, were traveling southbound on Interstate 75. Gabriel rear-ended Bah causing them to drive off the road and strike the median cable barrier.

Gabriel’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing and Bah’s vehicle was towed by Mayse’s Towing. Gabriel and his passenger were taken to Wilson Health by Anna EMS with suspected minor injuries.

• No one was cited after a one-vehicle crash on Saturday at 6:36 a.m.

Shane Tyler Jenkins, 26, of Bellbrook, was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 when he lost control, driving off the left side of the roadway and striking a guardrail and coming to rest partially in the southbound lanes of the interstate. Jenkins’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing and he was evaluated by Sidney EMS for possible injuries.

• Lanny K. Roberts, 61, of St. Marys, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a one-vehicle crash on Saturday at 6:07 a.m.

Roberts was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 when he lost control and drove off the left side of the roadway, striking the median cable barrier and a guard rail. Roberts’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.

• Matthew S. Westfall, 28, of Piqua, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a one-vehicle crash on Saturday at 5:50 a.m.

Westfall was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 when he lost control, driving off the right side of the roadway and striking a ditch. Westfall then overturned, struck the right away fence and came to rest right side up. Westfall’s vehicle was towed by Meyer’s Towing.

• No one was cited after a one-vehicle crash on Saturday at 5:45 a.m.

Thomas A. Lewis, 59, of Sidney, was traveling southbound on Interstate 75 when he lost control and struck a guardrail.

• Nicholas Earl Gordon, 40, of Piqua, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a one-vehicle crash on Saturday at 4:49 a.m.

Gordon was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 when he lost control, driving off the right side of the roadway and striking the median cable barrier.

• Joseph Patrick Mertz, 41, of Columbus Grove, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a one-vehicle crash on Jan. 19 at 4:30 p.m.

Mertz was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 when he spun around and drove off the left side of the roadway, striking the median cable barrier. Mertz’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.

• No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Jan. 17 at 2:50 p.m.

Brittany Lee Mcintire, 36, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on Cardo Road and approached a blind hill. Mcintire struck Michael C. Hossler, 62, of Fort Loramie, who was pulling into a driveway after the hill’s crest. Both vehicles were towed by Meyer’s Towing.

• Stacey Michelle Jacobs, 29, of Bellefontaine, was cited with operating a motor vehicle while impaired after a one-vehicle crash on Jan. 17 at 2:19 a.m.

Jacobs was traveling southbound on Baker Road when she drove off the left side of the roadway in an attempt to turn around, striking a bush. Jacobs traveled back onto the roadway before traveling off the right side. She was unable to get back on the roadway and pulled into a driveway.

• Matthew Eugene Bush, 23, of Wapakoneta, was cited with failure to yield at a stop sign after a two-vehicle crash on Jan. 16 at 5:06 a.m.

Bush was traveling northbound on Pasco Montra Road and failed to yield to the stop sign at the intersection of state Route 274 and was struck by Armilda F. Strunk, 46, of Sidney, who was traveling eastbound on state Route 274, causing Bush’s vehicle to overturn. Bush’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing and Strunk’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing. Strunk had possible injuries but was not evaluated by EMS personnel.
