BOWLING GREEN — Paxton J. Edwards received a bachelor of Economics degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University during their December 2015 Commencement exercises.

Edwards graduated cum laude with a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.725. She earned Dean’s list honors several times, was a College of Business Dean’s Scholar and a member of The Fayetta Paulsen Mortar Board Chapter. She also was a member of The Economics Club and The Omicron Delta Epsilon-Lambda Chapter of Ohio.She also served on the College of Business Social Media Committee.

During her college career she volunteered with The Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Wood County and was employed at The BGSU Deptartment of Recreation and Wellness, BGSU Deptartment of Economics as a teacher’s assistant, with the BGSU Learning Commons as a tutor and McDonalds.

Edwards is the daughter of Chris and Linda Edwards. She graduated from Fairlawn Local Schools and The Upper Valley Career Center in 2012.She plans to continue on to graduate school pursuing her master’s in Public Policy and Management with a specialization in Education and Poverty Policy.
