This photo is very important to me. It is a picture of the band behind the scenes at Disney World after the parade.
I had waited for years to finally march in Disney World with the people I love the most. I can picture the gates opening and seeing thousands of people standing there watching us play. The best part of it was marching down Main Street with the castle behind us and the crowd clapping along to the music. I am so very thankful for the opportunities that are only possible because of the people at Sidney High School.
My 4 years at this school has taught me quite a bit, and I’m not just talking about history or science. I have learned many life lessons from so many different people. I have had many amazing experiences and have met some of the most influential people I will ever get to know. I thought my time was flying and was short, and then it was cut even shorter by surprise.
Although this year continues to throw curve balls our way, we still manage to come together and make the best of it.
